So the exam is two days away and we’ve hardly been taught. I understand the Trojan Women section of the exam but the second section completely baffles me. Anyone who could give me ANY help at all will be loved forever!

The European Union is facing one of the most challenging periods in its history, in the wake of Ireland’s rejection of the Lisbon Treaty last week.

EU leaders will hold crisis talks in Brussels on Thursday and Friday to decide a course of action following the ‘No’ vote.

Many Irish voters complained about feeling disconnected from the EU in the lead-up to the country’s referendum. Many others across Europe have called for a wider public poll - Ireland was the only country to vote on the treaty.

EU foreign ministers have agreed to keep the Lisbon reform treaty alive.

At such a crucial time for Europe, what does the EU represent to you? What solution would you like to see to the current impasse? How should EU leaders resolve this crisis?
